Popular Ghanaian actor turn politician John Dumelo has indeed proven beyond reasonable doubt that, he has his eyes fully set on unseating the current Member of Parliament for the Awayawaso west wuogon constituency, Lydia Alhassan of the NPP.

The father of one, who is contesting on the tickets of the opposition NDC , has through his acts after his declaration of his intention to become an MP, not shy-ed away from doing the least to attract voters.

Politicians in African have over the years built a reputation for themselves as conniving , deceiving and untrustworthy folks who will go at any length including doing the despicable thing just to win votes , and has part of John Dumelo outreach, he has not swayed from these ‘crude’ reputation.

In the actors attempt to canvas for vote, John Dumelo has taken upon himself to learn every trade that will lead him to achieve what he wants. He has been a garbage truck pusher, a professional card player, body builder to his latest profession. He now braids her.

From the looks of things, Mr Dumelo should forget acting and become a professional hair dresser.

His approach however is not different from that of the current president of the republic, Nana Akufo Addo when he was gunning for power. He was seen pounding and eating fufu just to convince people that he was just like them believing we have easily forgotten he was served golden spoon when growing up.
