Michael Abeejah O’Mint aka Jupitar General is the fastest rising real Reggae/Dancehall & Afrobeats musician from Ghana. Since 2011, he has been making significant impact on Africa’s dancehall scene through his authentic music & captivating stagecraft.

In one of his interviews ,he Revealed why he chose the name Jupitar ,he said

“I got the name in my school days – Jupiter is known to be the largest planet in the solar system; and so i wanted to be big as a musician too”.

At a Point he thought of rebranding

It has affected me in a way where when people search for the name Jupitar, the planet appears as results. Rebranding is a big risk. I am trying to see if I can change it to my real name, “Michael”. However, I have added “Di General” to my name. Some people even refer me by that name”. He explained
