Anderson Frimpong popularly known as Kay Mena have come out strongly to lash out DJs and presenters for the more foreign content on our media space.
The Black Music Entertainment signee recalled how frustrating it was when he sent his song fire to a prominent reggea presenter to play, only for the presenter to tell him he can’t because there was lots of patoa in it, but today that same song is been played in Nigeria and at different stations.
“How can a presenter decide for me how I couch my craft? His duty was to air my craft for people to judge.
Kay Mena who is presently working on a collaboration with a Nigerian dancehall artiste Rymzo believes most of Ghanaian presenters and DJs are frustrating the upcoming artiste and it’s not fair.
“If any truth need to be told it should be told to all our DJs and presenters who behave like god”
