GONGA TO SIGN WITH BLACK MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT.
Mohammad Ibrahim; popularly known as GONGA, the Tamale musical giant and the president of GONGA MOVEMENT, have indicated his interest to sign with Black Music Entertainment (BME).
The Best Artiste of year at the just concluded Talent House Award in Accra, is as at press time, discussing with the Accra Based record & artiste management outfit.
According to Yakubu Abubakari Sadiq who is the arrow head if this deal said, GONGA is already having various nominations from various awarding events coming on this year.
Notable amongst them is the North-East Musical Award in February, where GONGA is nominated in two categories; Best Northern Artist which has Fancy Gadam in it and Most popular song of the year respectively.
However, plans are underway for GONGA MOVEMENT in collaboration with BLACK MUSIC ENTERTAINMENT to host the biggest musical talent show in Tamale.
GONGA; in his statement on the possibility of signing with BME, he said ” Show me any better record label in Ghana that is serious, and I will show you heaven”.
On reaching Mr. McDonald Agugoesi the BME CEO for confirmation, he simply said ” GONGA is a brand beyond the ordinary. I love his creative sense of putting on skirt. This kind of brand may seem not have a place in Ghana but it will be highly recognised internationally. Am sure you remember artist like Wiyala”.
It will be recalled that Black Music Entertainment (BME) recently signed three new artistes (Sky Gee, Kay Mena, and Kobby Brian) who are presently in the studios with the legendary PossiGee doing a joint single titled ME DO.
