PEOPLE CROSSING THE “RED SEA” IN ACCRA

Accra is the the capital town of Ghana and also the biggest city in the Republic of Ghana. It can be located in the Greater Accra Region.

Yesterday a heavy downpour visited the town, the rainstorm has been recorded of the heaviest rainfall that the town has ever witnessed.

After the downpour, the town was highly affected. Some affected areas include Kaneshie traffic light, James Town, Kwame Nkrumah Circle and other suburb towns.

Small gutters connecting to the big ones have been choked leading to the other over flowing of the running water on the street causing flooding.

The water which has flooded enter the homes, stores and offices of the people. It has also stop the moving of vehicles causing a lot of traffic jams.

The people living within those areas have no option than to walk or swim in the flood like that.
