Rest On Saturday And Sunday ,Monday 9th March ,2020 Is Not a Holiday – GES To Teachers and Students

Usually after every 6th March ,where students and teachers play major role in March past to commemorate the independence of Ghana , Students and Teachers are offered 7th March as holiday to rest .

This year’s March past fell on Friday which is 6th March 2020 ,many thought Monday ,9th of March will be holiday for Teachers and pupils ,But Ghana Education Service has issued letter to that Effect .

According to GES , Students and Teachers are to use Saturday and Sunday to rest and return to work on Monday ,9th March 2020 .

It’s therefore , imperative for Teachers and Students across the country to take note of the directive from GES to avoid potential sanctioning .
