Ghanaian alcohol brand Adonko took its products to Nigeria and had an event that saw Nigerian celebrities like Ini Edo, Jim Iyke, Teddy A, Victor AD, Melvin Oduah, Uti Nwachukwu and Charles Okocha unveiled as ambassadors.
With respect to that ,Ghanaian Dancehall artiste,Shatta Wale , took to Twitter to take a swipe at FDA for banning Ghanaian Celebrities from advertising for Alcoholic Companies .
He said :
“Small time dem go Ban promoters from doing shows in Ghana cuz dem go talk say celebs deh spoil the youths in Ghana.. there norrrr ago start do ashawo for quick cash 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😂”
In his numerous tweets he also Jabbed Ghanaian artistes for not caring about business but awards .
He writes :
“Ghanaian musicians only think about awards and not business and more over they behave like children no wonder FDA sees us a great influence to minors !!! Poor industry poor mentality !!!!!”
The interesting thing is when he congratulated Nigerian celebrities for signing a deal with Adonko bitters and added that he’s a Nigerian by the name ‘Chuku Wale ‘ hence he’s eligible to be signed by Adonko bitters .
“Congrats to all my naija brothers and celebs on their Adonko deal ..Infact Adonko pls come and sign me cuz am also a nigerian ,my name is shatta Ike chwuku wale ..Thank you 🙏🏽” he added
