Boamah Oppong David, better known by his stage name OKETE, is a talented musician hailing from Mampong in the Ashanti Region of Ghana. He represents Sowutuom, a vibrant suburb of Accra, where he continues to build his music career.
OKETE’s journey in education began at Stephenson’s International School, where he completed his Junior High School education. He went on to Nungua Senior High School for his Senior High School studies. After completing his secondary education, OKETE pursued higher education at Methodist University College, further shaping his path toward a successful career.
A key player in his music journey is OKETE MUSIC, his dedicated team, who has supported him throughout his rise in the music scene. Music is not just a passion for OKETE; it’s his life, and he has poured his heart and soul into every project. Over the years, OKETE has released four studio albums and several hit singles, including tracks like “The Street Is Fed UP,” “Sleep Is Boring,” “Solid Still,” “This Is More Like Me,” “Date,” “Saa,” “Girl,” and “Pampanaa.”
